WATERSIDE CRIB LEAGUE CONSTITUTION

AMENDED AT THE 1998 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

THE ORIGINAL WAS DRAWN UP ON THE 26TH JULY 1980

  1. The league will be called 'THE WATERSIDE CRIB LEAGUE'
  2. The league will be formed with teams from the Waterside area and other licensed premises invited to participate
  3. The league will have a committee which will consist of a Chairman, Secretary and a Treasurer, plus 6 Committee members.  Each shall have 1 vote with the Chairman's vote  being the casting vote should there be a deadlock.
  4. The aim of the league is to be a local charity league.  A donation for the need of a local charity or purpose will be made.
  5. The league shall not run at a loss.  Any deficiency of funds must be accounted for by either increasing league fees to account for the loss, or the committee itself will be responsible for the loss.
  6. All monies collected shall be deposited into a bank or building society account, and records to be presented to the committee at regular intervals by the league tresurer.
  7. Policy decisions can only be discussed and amended at an AGM.
  8. Any team wishing to play for the forthcoming season must send a representative to the main AGM with the appropriate league fees.
